Selection criteria of sqay players for international events
SqayFederation of India ( SFI ) will select the probable for the Internationalcompetition organised by , international council of SQAY or it’s affiliated units for international events ( south Asian, Asian .world championship, commonwealth championship. Masters cup or any other offical event)
Final selection will be done by internal trial among the probable & wt. categories may be decided on the basis of highest ICS by selection committee.
The following selection criteria will be followed for selecting the probable:
1] Must be placed minimum 6th Place of the on the latest National SQAY Championships before Selection trails
2] wildcard Entry one wildcard entry is allowed in Selection trails on the previous performance and request by state association in writing. subject to be excepted by Technical committee
3] Must have a valid Passport minimum till April one year validity
4] Must pass the Medical & Fitness Test to be conducted by the SFI
5] The selection committee will also decide which weights to send on the basis of the World Ranking of the player/ weight in ICS list.
6] Decision of Selection Committee will be treated as Final.
